Limestone

Limestone is one of the most common materials for building in the world. Anywhere that you’re looking at high shine tiles, or stone walls and you’re probably looking at limestone tiles.

It’s used in railway stations and entry foyers alike. Our ranges of limestone wall and floor tiles are designed to give you the best range of A grade stone.

We offer honed limestone, brushed limestone, rivened limestone and tumbled limestone; each of them are ready for installation before sealing. The different types of limestone tiles offered on our site are designed to give you the widest choice of finishes – each is different and causes a statement or focal point.

The natural beauty of limestone tiles gives you a range of colours too – from caramel to black and mocca brown to deep, dark chocolate. For example, our honed limestone tiles are designed to give a softer sheen than high gloss polished limestone tiles – so you should explore each of options fully before committing to one stone. Like granite, limestone tiles can be used anywhere, but it’s not quite as tough, unless it’s been treated – and like every other stone on our site, once installed, they should be sealed with a high quality sealer – it will make them easier to clean and care for and they will retain their colour and character longer.

Limestone tiles can be used in the bathroom, hall or kitchen and once treated, can be mopped as normal. Untreated limestone can be slightly porous and will absorb stains and discolour. We offer samples of most of our stones, and have low minimum orders – all prices include VAT and are by the metre squared unless otherwise stated
